sculptural collage

8.5” x 11” x 11” translucent spray paint on three panels of clear plexiglass and one mirror glass assembled together with bolts, nuts, and screws

Collecting and gathering physical ephemera, including postcards, tickets, and photographs, in folders and boxes is a practice that I have maintained over time. My paper objects hold memories, connections, and attachments--- all which are elicited when held in my hands.

I wanted to create a sculpture containing my own personal paper objects (and memories). A collage of materials to invoke in viewers the sensation of remembering.
Blurred, shifted, yet vibrant and colorful.
